I am Valerie Gonzalez, the PreK-5th grade Special Education Teacher here at Chuckey Elementary School. I graduated from ETSU with a B.S. in Special Education, and went back to school at Union College to get my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. I began teaching here at Chuckey in 2001.
I'm passionate about helping students learn, and helping them realize they are learning all the time. My husband, Joe, and I have 2 children. We attend United Baptist Church. In our spare time, we enjoy being with family, watching sports, especially soccer, and going to the beach.
